Lexaria Biosciences Corp. (LXRP) is ready for the cannabis boom to come.

The Canadian firm has carved a space for itself in food sciences by developing cutting-edge infusion techniques that could play a major role as legal cannabis continues to gain traction. 

While the company focuses on a number of lipid infusion technologies, its work in cannabis has taken the spotlight. Lexaria is working on high-tech delivery means that it will later sell to companies as an R&D leader and licensing firm. Here's what Lexaria director Chris Bunka told TheStreet at the LD Micro conference in Los Angeles.
