Levered ETF Specialist Direxion Looks Long Term to Strategic Beta

Direxion Investments may be best known for its levered exchange traded funds favored by institutional traders, nevertheless, it is broadening its product offerings to meet the demand of individual investors, most notably in the growing strategic beta category, says the company's president Brian Jacobs. Jacobs says the company will soon be launching an ETF tracking the popular iBillionaire index. He also counters the notion that levered ETFs are a threat to the system, saying that unlike many other financial products these very liquid funds are wholly transparent and carry full disclosures.
