Let's 'Grow the Good' Now that Election is Over Says Life is Good Co-Founder
The 2016 election campaign made life very tense for a large number of Americans. John Jacobs, co-founder of Life is Good, is on a mission in 2017 to remind folks that "life is good" too. Last summer, Jacobs' company launched a national "Positive State" campaign to finds signs of optimism during the contentious election season. Life is Good asked customers to submit stories about how they were "growing the good" in their communities and, according to Jacobs, the response was "overwhelming." As a result, the company is offering grants to letter-writers from across the country who submitted stories of "growing the good." Some of those receiving grants in the New York City area are the Sibling Connection, Free Arts NYC, The Boys and Girls Club and Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
