Lennar Homebuilders didn't get the memo about bad weather in the first quarter meaning they weren't supposed to be selling a lot of homes. The company easily beat analyst estimates for earnings and revenues, causing the stock to move higher. Increased home prices and reduced incentives combined to deliver high gross margins. Every region saw increases except the central part of the United States. The company also says things are looking up for the spring with higher new orders.
