The demand for Legos shows no signs of slowing down. The toy maker says its popular, multi-colored toy blocks continued to be in strong demand in 2014, particularly in its largest market, the U.S., as well as Britain, France, Russia, and China. The Danish company says it invested more than $470 million in 2014 to move production closer to core markets and upgrade equipment, including in China, Mexico, Czech Republic, and its core molding plant in Denmark. Profits in 2015 rose 15% to about $1 billion. Even though Lego is privately owned, it has published earnings reports since 1997.
