Lawmakers Hammer United CEO Munoz During Airline Hearing
United CEO Oscar Munoz and other leaders from major airlines were being grilled before the House Transportation Committee on Tuesday.
United (UAL) - Get Report CEO Oscar Munoz spoke before the House Transportation Committee on Tuesday, he was there to address what airlines can do to win back customer trust following a disturbing incident on April 9, when a man was dragged from an overbooked United flight. Video of the event quickly went viral and lawmakers wanted to make it clear to Munoz and the executives that were there from other airline companies that they need to improve customer service. If not, the Committee says it will step in and do it for them.
