In the last year of a bull market, may people start to pull money out and park it in safer investments, like cash. But the market tends to do well in that last year, says Alli McCartney, managing director at UBS (UBS) with $1.5 billion in assets under management.

And if we are indeed at the end of this long-running bull market, McCartney doesn't want her clients to miss out on those gains.
