There will soon be a new face in the corner office at Lands' End. The apparel retailer said Monday that CEO Edgar Huber is leaving. Huber will be succeeded by Federica Marchionni, the one-time president of Dolce & Gabbana. Marchionni will take over as CEO and will take a seat on the board at Lands' End February 17. Lands' End was spun off by Sears in 2014 after it struggled to thrive. The company's origins go back to 1963 when it was a sailboat hardware and equipment catalog. Sears bought it in 2002 for nearly $2 billion. Huber will stay on to assist with the transition.
