Just Because You Use Snapchat Doesn't Mean You Should Buy Snap Shares
Should you buy a stock just because you like its product?
Buying a stock just because you like its products shouldn't be your only investing criteria.
Just look at the stock price of Snap (SNAP) - Get Report , the parent of Snapchat, which was almost cut in half since its IPO in March.
On the flip side, shares of Facebook (FB) - Get Report , Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report and Apple (AAPL) - Get Report , which also have popular products, have surged in recent years.
Let's face it: people have purchased stocks for worse reasons than liking their products.
