Valuations and economic cycles favor European stocks while the U.S. markets and economy take a momentary breather, said Martin Schulz, Portfolio Manager for the PNC Capital Advisors' International Equity Fund. Schulz added that Europe is one of the biggest beneficiaries of lower energy prices and will boost corporate earnings, especially those of German exporters. He said he is also favorable to Irish and Spanish companies, and is keeping a close eye on Greece's debt and social problems. Finally, Schulz said he is finding value in Japanese equities as well and stocks could really take off with further weakening of the Yen in the next 12 to 18 months due to Abenomics.
