JPMorgan & Wells Fargo Earnings: What to Watch on Wall Street April 14

Wall Street awaits earnings from JPMorgan (JPM), Wells Fargo (WFC) and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) on Tues. April 14. JPMorgan and Wells Fargo report results before the markets open, as first quarter earnings season heats up. Johnson & Johnson also reports Tuesday morning and analysts are looking for earnings per share of $1.54 on sales of $17.3 billion. As for economic data, the all-important retail sales numbers for March are released at 8:30am by the Commerce Department. Economists say sales should rise 1.1% during the month, after falling 0.6% in February. TheStreet's Scott Gamm has details from New York.
