The stock was the best performer in the S&P 500 on Monday and was upgraded to OUTPERFORM from NEUTRAL by analysts at Robert W. Baird on Monday morning, sending shares higher. The analysts also upped their price target to $62 per share from $45, saying falling commodity prices might be coming to an end. After all, crude prices rose over 14 percent over the past month. Some 3.6 million shares of Joy Global traded hands on Monday - that's significantly ahead of the stock's average trading volume of 1.6 million shares. Shares of Joy Global are trading at $44.22 per share and have slumped 4.8 percent since the start of the year.
