Secretary of State John Kerry has joined officials in Vienna to discuss Iran's nuclear program. Officials are hoping to come up with an initiative that will help shape President Obama's foreign policy decisions in the Middle East. Diplomats have voiced concerns that Monday's deadline will not yield an agreement and that looks to be the case at the moment. Iran's chief negotiator will return to Tehran on Friday afternoon to seek further instructions before continuing the talks over the weekend. Discussions are struggling to establish the amount of uranium Iran would be allowed to enrich for it nuclear stockpile. Iran is also demanding that economic sanctions are lifted permanently rather than suspended slowly over the next five years.
