We begin the week with a fresh review on commodities, starting with precious metals & currencies. Both of these markets are getting ready to undergo some extreme moves and will impact not only the markets, but the lifestyle of those traveling abroad. Live cattle has been rough on the daily charts but the weekly suggests we may be coming into some areas of support. Coffee has broke to new lows and has some obvious effects we can look to play via stocks like SBUX. Crude continues to get hammered and the question I seem to hear the most is this the bottom or have we finally entered a range? I actually think neither of the two is true scenario, but do have some insights on how to play it. Natural gas is following suit despite the winter weather, once that shifts we should see some significant selling. Bonds sold off hard last week and I don't think that trend is ready to shift just yet. Bonds may be a good market to either short gently or maybe just avoid altogether. We wind down the review with stock index futures and what to expect from the week ahead.
