John Carter Analysis: Review of the Indexes and Setups to Close the Week

We're winding down this week with analysis on two index ETFs, AMZN earnings and a few favorite swing plays. The Russell led us down and was the first index to reverse, so I'm keeping an eye on it for clues, but the Nasdaq is powering higher led by stocks such as AAPL which is hitting new all time highs. AMZN missed earnings and is down big, putting a little extra pressure on the Nasdaq. TLT has pulled back to the 21-day moving average, a spot that has rewarded longs during this uptrend. KO missed earnings and gapped down, but the monthly squeeze is still in play. Same goes for CHRW which is chugging along. I'm also looking to sell call spreads on stocks that have had big moves into resistance, such as VIPS. WYNN is one that looks like it's going to roll over as it has shown no signs of strength whatsoever.
