Employers added over 320,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.8%. Despite the good news for people searching for jobs, several industries cannot fill their positions fast enough. The gain in jobs was widespread throughout the economy, with the most positions from the retail, health care and manufacturing industries. The professional and business services sector added 86,000 jobs in November, temporary help services increased with 23,000 positions while retail trade reported an addition of 50,000 jobs. The health care industry gained 29,000 jobs during the month while manufacturing added 28,000 jobs.
