Apple's (AAPL) - Get Free Report annual developer conference kicks off on Monday, and it could be pivotal for the tech giant, according to TheStreet's Annie Gaus.

At a keynote on Monday, Apple is expected to announce a wide array of updates across various platforms, including iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS.

Apple only unveiled its big push into services a couple of months ago. And the company's weeklong Worldwide Developers Conference could shed more light on Apple's plans for the remainder of 2019 and beyond.

Jim Cramer weighs in on what he's paying attention to during the company's conference.

"I think that the conferences have always been good ones. There's a 5G element that's positive.
