It's jobs day!
Friday, Dec. 6, we got the November jobs report.
In November, the economy added 266,000 jobs, handily beating estimates of around 180,000.
Jim Cramer weighed in on the report.
"I think that when you look at the makeup of it, it shows you that we are consumer-led economy and the consumer spending consumers, wealthy consumers buying houses, consumer shopping, just not at the mall. But I thought that [the manufacturing number] was shocking. Because obviously the tariffs should have indicated that we weren't. And then the other thing that's amazing is the oil patch, which used to be the oil patch in all of Louisiana and Texas not really doing it anymore. So this is just a nice national pastiche of service," said Cramer.
