Jim Cramer is fond of Walmart shares even as Amazon tries to go head-to-head with the retail giant.

For the next five days starting Monday, the company will offer free shipping with no minimum purchase for online orders. 'It's been an amazing stock not unlike Dollar Tree (DLTR) - Get Report , Dollar General (DG) - Get Report and TJX Companies (TJX) - Get Report ,' Cramer said. 'Walmart offers a bargain and people are frugal and the other guys don't offer that kind of bargain.' Walmart is looking to compete with Amazon's (AMZN) - Get Report 'Prime Day' which will be held on Tuesday.
