Don't buy stocks based on merger rumors and that includes Viacom (VIA) - Get Report which will have a hard time moving too much higher, says TheStreet's Jim Cramer. Last week Viacom, the owner of MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, reported lower-than-expected quarterly revenue due to a decline in domestic advertising sales and the absence of hits from its Paramount film studio. Domestic advertising revenue Viacom fell 8% in the fourth quarter, the ninth consecutive quarterly decline, and more than analysts expected.
