TheStreet's Jim Cramer gives his investing advice to readers of his new book "Get Rich Carefully" at a Q&A session at Barnes & Noble in Union Square on February 4, 2014. Cramer thinks Microsoft's new CEO Satya Nadella is not the answer to the software giant's problems. Nadella spent 22 years at Microsoft, most recently in its cloud computing division, which Cramer points out is three times smaller than rival Salesforce.com's cloud business. Cramer wants Microsoft and Apple to acquire companies such as Netflix, Yelp, and Zillow instead of trying to invent new technologies. Microsoft has done nothing important, says Cramer, including the Xbox game console. Cramer's suggestion: Microsoft needs to make some acquisitions.
