In his column for The New York Times, Andrew Ross Sorkin broke down his thoughts on how we could make the markets "more fair and trustworthy."
One suggestion he offered was having hedge funds disclose their short-selling positions.
“If we as a society believe transparency is important to understand who is buying up shares, it would seem logical that we also want to know who is betting against them," Sorkin wrote.
