McDonald's reported Tuesday that global sales fell 3.7 percent in August, in large part due to the recent supplier issues in China. Jim Cramer says the problem with McDonald's is that it relies on the food supply chain, which younger people are increasingly very suspicious of. Chipotle, on the other hand, goes outside the food chain and goes for natural and organic foods. Cramer says McDonald's hasn't gotten it right. It's very difficult to make a company that is a traditional company into a natural/organic company and that is the secular decline that you're seeing in McDonald's. He says he's not a bottom fisher in that stock.
