Jim Cramer Says He May Buy Alcoa After the Smoke Clears
Alcoa's quarter was disappointing, but Jim Cramer says there may be opportunity in the stock.
TheStreet's Jim Cramer says Alcoa (AA) - Get Report did not have a good quarter, and he was expecting better guidance from the company and didn't get it. Cramer's Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust owns a small stake in Alcoa, and he said the trust will probably want to add to the position after the smoke clears, because the dramatic downward guidance takes the risk off the stock. "It's probably attractive now that it's been totally hammered," explained Cramer. Alcoa's earnings rose less than expected, and revenue also disappointed.
