Jim Cramer Says Drive Away From Tesla Shares Despite Stock Decline
TheStreet's Jim Cramer says the reasons many investors are giving for selling shares of Tesla are not the reasons why he is not a fan of the stock.
TheStreet's Jim Cramer says the reasons many investors are giving for selling shares of Tesla are not the reasons why he is not a fan of the stock. Cramer says Tesla shares have lost ground because people see the decline in gas prices keeping car buyers away from more fuel-efficient options like Tesla. Cramer says some investors are also concerned that future Tesla models, which will likely be less expensive than the current Model S, will not sell well because of lower fuel prices. Cramer says the reason he is not a fan of Tesla shares is that the automaker will likely miss production forecasts and that is a bigger worry than people not buying the cars.
