Union Pacific CEO John (Jack) Koraleski stated the company's business is doing well and TheStreet's Jim Cramer thinks Union Pacific's success can be attributed to its new track in Mexico. Cramer says it has the best Mexican import business, benefiting greatly from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Cramer also points out that grain, fracking sand, and the automotive and lumber/housing sectors are doing well, leading to increased shipments. Cramer thinks Union Pacific stock remain inexpensive because the company has to re-price several contracts next year, and Cramer would buy shares of UNP up until the low-$200s.
