Jim Cramer and Jack Mohr, co-managers of the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio, are out with their 2017 outlook.

"I come in with the prospect of being bullish but don't want to jump the gun," Cramer said, adding that investors who own the stocks in his charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS, shouldn't sell any of them.

For investors new to the Action Alerts family, Cramer said they shouldn't be too aggressive, since many market-moving factors can occur over the next 10 days.

Cramer, along with Mohr, believes the banking sector is the place to invest. Within the financials sector, Action Alerts PLUS owns Wells Fargo (WFC) - Get Report and Citigroup (C) - Get Report .
