Jim Cramer Predicts a Smooth Transition at Coca-Cola
Jim Cramer expects a smooth transition as Coca-Cola KO CEO Muhtar Kent steps down and chief operating officer James Quincey takes over.
Amid news that Coca-Cola (KO) - Get Report CEO Muhtar Kent is stepping down and chief operating officer James Quincey is taking over, TheStreet's Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer expects a smooth transition. "Smooth transition - I spoke to both gentlemen [on Friday]," Cramer says. "Is Coca-Cola a great growth stock like it used to be in the 80s and 90s? No, and a lot of that is because they are in 208 countries already." Cramer also said that the stock won't be as strong as Pepsico (PEP) - Get Report , which is what his charitable trust owns.
