After interviewing National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow, TheStreet's founder and Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer said it's going to be hard to be in a trade war with China, which has a president for life.

"I'm looking for little signals everywhere that something's going well with China and [Kudlow] basically just said forget it Jim - nothing," Cramer noted.
