The stock market moved higher Tuesday amid a stabilization in the Turkish lira, but TheStreet's founder and Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer urged investors not to get ahead of themselves.

"There are still going to be people who say, wait a second, this Turkish lira situation is the so-called canary in the coal mine," Cramer noted. "Don't get carried away."

Turkey's lira plummeted against the dollar last Friday, which rattled global stock markets.
