TheStreet's Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer isn't paying much attention to the weak July retail sales, released Friday. 'These aggregate numbers tend to be completely out of sync with the companies that we trade,' Cramer said, adding that the more important factor to watch is retailers' inventory levels, which were lean. Retail sales remained unchanged in July, while analysts had expected a rise of 0.4 percent.

At the time of publication, Jim Cramer's charitable trust Action Alerts PLUS held no positions in stocks mentioned.
