President Donald Trump said on Friday that he's not planning on rolling back tariffs.
"But I know of no one who expected it to put on an amazing rally, one that doesn't even seem linked to China. Now, a couple of things are in play here. When it became clear that China was no longer a trough to feed in they worked hard to diversify away from the PRC," wrote Cramer in his Real Money column Monday morning.
"I think that there was a big setback in trade last week. I think that the pro-trade wing is trying to get a lot of business done. The anti-trade wing is trying to change China. The people who are pro-business in China got ahead of the president," said Cramer.
