Jim Cramer: It Would Have Been Nice to Have a 'Challenger' on P&G's Board
TheStreet's Jim Cramer reacts to the apparent loss of Nelson Peltz in his quest for a P&G board seat. Peltz isn't giving up just yet.
While Procter & Gamble (PG) - Get Report says its board members have been re-elected, fending off pressure from activist investor Nelson Peltz, TheStreet's founder and Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer said it would have been nice to have a "challenger" on P&G's board.
Peltz has been seeking a P&G board seat and is encouraging the company to purchase smaller, niche consumer brands that have millennial followings.
