Jim Cramer Is Watching Morgan Stanley and IBM Earnings in the Week Ahead
TheStreet's Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on Morgan Stanley (MS) and IBM (IBM) in the week ahead when both companies report their latest quarterly results. Morgan Stanley is slated to announce its third quarter earnings on Monday before the opening bell. Cramer says Morgan Stanley has a wealth management business that is run well and he credits CEO James Gorman with doing 'a terrific job.' He added, 'we remain steadfast Morgan Stanley.' Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters are expecting the global financial services company to earn $0.63 a share on $8.54 billion in revenue for the quarter. IBM is also scheduled to release its third quarter results on Monday but after the close. Cramer says he doesn't think this is the quarter 'where the fast growing part of IBM finally obscures the slower growing [part].' But adds that he's 'not going to pound the table on it until I see the quarter because I need to see that breakout.' Analysts are expecting IBM to post earnings of $3.30 a share on revenue of $19.6 billion for the quarter.
