Jim Cramer Is Watching Home Depot and Walmart on Tuesday
TheStreet's Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on shares of Home Depot (HD) and Walmart (WMT) as both companies prepare to post quarterly results before the open Tuesday. Cramer says he's looking for a pretty good number from Home Depot judging by the action in a lot of the outdoor furniture companies which have been really terrific. The issue with Walmart, on the other hand, is that the stock is down so low that it may not even matter what they say when they report, he says. Home Depot stock, by contrast, is very high and so they're going to have to shoot the lights out, says Cramer. He reminds investors that this is the season for Home Depot because it's planting season, the equivalent of their Christmas. Cramer says Home Depot will do well but he thinks the stock is priced for perfection.
