Jim Cramer Is Watching Hewlett Packard as it Prepares to Post Q2 Earnings Thursday
TheStreet's Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on shares of Hewlett Packard (HPQ) as the company prepares to release second quarter results after the close Thursday. Cramer says even more important than their quarterly results will be any details they'll reveal of their upcoming split into two companies. He says the fast growing part of the business, the enterprise services business, is what he's most interested in because that goes directly against Cisco (CSCO). Cramer thinks that even though business isn't that good, you're going to get a lot of excitement just about the split. While Cramer says he's not recommending the stock, he is saying that this is a company that could get things going after the stock initially gets hit on what he thinks is going to be a not great earnings per share number.
