TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on fourth quarter results from Goldman Sachs (GS), released before the markets open on Wednesday. Analysts expect the New York-based bank to post earnings of $3.56 a shares on revenue of $7.14 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, Goldman Sachs reported profits of $4.38 a share with revenue of $7.69 billion. Shares of Goldman Sachs are down 13 percent year-to-date, compared to the broad S&P 500’s 7.8 percent drop. ‘Goldman Sachs (GS) is down the most from the Aug. 24 bottom period. When Goldman reports, they open the window for partners to sell and it’s usually best to wait three days if you do like Goldman,’ Cramer said.
