Jim Cramer Is Watching General Electric's Quarterly Results on Friday
TheStreet’s Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer is keeping a close eye on earnings from General Electric (GE), released before the markets open on Friday. Analysts expect the Fairfield, Conn.-based company to report fourth quarter earnings of $0.50 a share on sales of about $36 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the industrials giant posted net income of $0.56 a share with revenue of $42 billion. Cramer said he owns GE personally, as an employee of CNBC, which was once owned by General Electric. ‘GE reports on Friday and I think it’s going to be an excellent quarter,’ Cramer said. ‘The stock has pulled back – we want to hear about more buybacks, when they become not one of these SIFI (systemically important financial institutions) institutions for the government.
