Jim Cramer Is Watching 3M's Analyst Meeting Tuesday Morning
3M (MMM) is set to host an analyst meeting on Tuesday where CEO Inge Thulin will discuss the company's 2016 outlook. TheStreet's Jim Cramer says it's the meeting to watch. Though his Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust portfolio has a small position of 3M, Cramer says he 'would hope this thing goes down so you can take a long term view because Inge Thulin is doing such a good job.' He adds that the company will need a better global economy to perform but continues to hold the stock because he believes it's a well-run company that pays a solid dividend. Cramer concedes that all eyes will be on the Fed this week but says that 3M's analyst meeting is 'one signpost that is worth paying attention to.' The meeting is set to begin at 9a.m. Eastern. Shares of MMM are up 10 percent over the last three months. 3M produces more than 55,000 products and has operations in more than 65 countries.
