Don't worry about Goldman Sachs' (GS) - Get Report bench being depleted if the firm's President Gary Cohn leaves for a position in the Trump administration, says TheStreet's Jim Cramer. Gary Cohn, who was widely seen as Blankfein's heir apparent after serving in the role of president since 2006, may leave to become director of the White House National Economic Council under President-Elect Donald Trump, NBC News and other outlets reported Friday. The 56-year-old Cohn decided to depart rather than wait for the CEO job to open up, but he could return if needed, according to a person familiar with the matter who declined to be identified because the deliberations were private. A Goldman Sachs spokesperson was not immediately available for comment, while Trump's transition team has not confirmed the appointment.
