On Sunday, Facebook (FB) - Get Report CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post calling for more regulation of the internet.

Jim Cramer weighed in on the op-ed. While he said that he still likes Facebook as a company, but knows that Facebook is a "hated" company nowadays.

"But you know, what people have to recognize is that Facebook is a hated company. I mean, if you go back to Tim Cook's product and announced this week, how many times did he say safety, safety, privacy, privacy, privacy and Facebook spoiled that. So, the question is, has the well been spoiled and you can never take it back?" Cramer said. "I wish that [Facebook] would now hire someone who we know is like what you saw at Uber. They need like a Justice Department guy to come because that's what Uber did. They brought on Tony West and [he] stood for the Justice Department and he wasn't gonna tolerate anything but that if they did that at Facebook the stock would go up big."
