Here's what's happening in the markets. 

The DOJ and Google

Over the weekend, it was reported that the DOJ is considering an antitrust investigation into Real Money Stock of the Day Alphabet's Google (GOOGL) - Get Free Report .

The probe will examine the company's practices in search and other businesses, the Wall Street Journal reported this weekend, citing people familiar with the matter.

Earlier this year, Google was fined $1.7 billion by European regulators for antitrust violations in the online advertising market.

Apple's WWDC Conference Kicks Off

Apple's (AAPL) - Get Free Report annual developer conference kicks off on Monday, and it could be pivotal for the tech giant, according to TheStreet's Annie Gaus.

At a keynote on Monday, Apple is expected to announce a wide array of updates across various platforms, including iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS.

Apple only unveiled its big push into services a couple of months ago. And the company's weeklong World Wide Developers Conference could shed more light on Apple's plans for the remainder of 2019 and beyond.

Boeing's Back In the News

But maybe not in the way that investors would like. 

The Federal Aviation Agency on Sunday that the slats on the wings on both current 737 MAX jets and the plane's earlier version, which assist in takeoff and landing, "may be susceptible to premature failure or cracks resulting from the improper manufacturing process." Boeing said that the slats could be replaced within one or two days once alternate parts are received from suppliers, and identified around 20 737 MAX airplanes as needing immediate replacement. Around 159 more, Boeing said, will need to be checked "to ensure a thorough assessment."
