Jim Cramer Believes China Is Getting Stronger, Not Weaker
Jim Cramer says anyone who says the economic slowdown is bad for China is misjudging the fact that the current regime is intent on cleaning up the whole country.
TheStreet's Jim Cramer says anyone who says the economic slowdown is bad for China is misjudging the fact that the current regime is intent on cleaning up the whole country. As examples, he points to the government's crack down on corrupt businesses, as well as its decision to raise margin rates and to the fact that there is less lending in an effort to give the housing market a chance to cool off. Despite the world's second largest economy growing at its slowest pace in 24 years in 2014, Cramer says China is getting stronger, not weaker because the country is becoming more of a legal place to do business.
