The Nasdaq was once again lower in intraday trading on Thursday, March 18 following inflation worries that sent Treasury yields soaring to their highest levels since January 2020.
And on Wednesday, the Dow and S&P 500 closed at record highs after the Federal Reserve said that it expects to keep interest rates near zero through 2023 and upgraded its outlook for economic growth. The Dow closed above 33,000 for the first time.
