JetBlue Founding Member and CEO David Barger Taking Off
David Barger, JetBlue's current CEO, will step down when his contract expires in February 2015. Robin Hayes, currently the President at JetBlue, will take over as CEO.
A new CEO is landing at JetBlue as the old one takes off. David Barger, JetBlue's current CEO, will step down when his contract expires in February 2015. He had been part of the airline's founding team and served as CEO since 2007. He also will leave the company's board of directors. Robin Hayes, currently the President at JetBlue, will take over as CEO effective February 16. The embattled Barger had been under pressure from Wall Street the last several months for its failure to increase revenue.
