Jeff Bezos’ space venture Blue Origin auctioned off one of six seats on its upcoming spaceflight on Saturday for $28 million.

Jeff Bezos, chief executive of the Seattle tech and online retail giant Amazon (AMZN), and founder of Blue Origin announced on June 7 that he will be flying on the first passenger flight with his brother, Mark.

The spacecraft New Shepard is named after the first American to go into space, Alan Shepard.
