Janet Yellen Among Leaders to Give 2014 Commencement Speeches

Leaders from across business and politics are preparing to send this year's graduates off with their best advice. One of the biggest commencement speeches in the coming week will be from Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen, who will address the graduating class of NYU at Yankee Stadium on May 21. Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda will speak to graduates at Stanford, and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will address students at the University of Washington in June. General Motors CEO Mary Barra, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, and current Secretary of State John Kerry have already served as some of this year's commencement speakers.
