Jaguar Land Rover has taken a stake in ride-share company Lyft.
The deal will see Jaguar Land Rover's mobility services business InMotion invest $25 million in Lyft. The collaboration will see InMotion develop and test mobility services including autonomous vehicles with Lyft, wile some Lyft drivers will be supplied with vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover as part of the partnership.
"Personal mobility and smart transportation is evolving. This new collaborative venture will provide a real-world platform helping us develop our connected and autonomous services," said Sebastian Peck, the managing director of InMotion.
