J.C. Penney Shares Fall Despite Narrower Q3 Loss
J.C. Penney reported earnings that were in line but missed on third quarter revenue.
J.C. Penney (JCP) - Get Report shares were lower Friday after reporting mixed third quarter results. The retailer reported an adjusted loss of $0.21 a share, which was in line with analyst estimates. J.C. Penney generated net sales of $2.857 billion, a 1.4% decrease from the year ago period and also less than what analysts were expecting for the quarter.
