On National Dog Day, pet food company Freshpet (FRPT) - Get Report hosted a Facebook (FB) - Get Report Live 'Adoptathon' event from the Nasdaq Marketsite. The company teamed up with the Associated Humane Societies and showed off dogs looking for homes. TheStreet brought two certified dog lovers to the event to help guide us through the day.
